Petersburg Cemetery-Located Springfield Township, Section 25. On State Rte. 170 just north of the Village of Petersburg, which lies at the intersection of State Rts 170 and 617. The large cemetery is on the east side of the road, set back from the road on a knoll. The cemetery is maintained by Petersburg Cemetery Association and records are kept by St. John’s Evangelical Church.
New Springfield Cemetery-Located Springfield Township, Section 30. On Woodworth Rd. (St. Rt. 165) 1 mile northwest of New Springfield. Cemetery is on both sides of the road- the older part on the southwest side (Sections A, B, C, D) and the new part on the northeast side (Section E, F, G). The Cemetery is maintained by The Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church at 330-549-3207.
Zion Lutheran Cemetery-Located Springfield Township, Section 11. On the Northwest Corner of the intersection of Middletown Road with Rapp Road, fronting on Rapp Rd. The cemetery is maintained by Members of Zion Cemetery Board.
Old Springfield Cemetery-Located in Springfield Township, section 14 SE corner. On the east side of SR170 about 1.5 miles south east of New Middletown at the intersection of South Range Road. This Cemetery was turned over to the Springfield Township of Trustees and is maintained by the Township Trustees.
Summers Cemetery-Located in Springfield Township, section 5. On Springfield Road one half miles south of its intersection with Western Reserve and North Lima Roads. A lane to the left has a large sign on the comer for Summers Cemetery. Cemetery is at left a short distance down lane. Cemetery has been turned over to the Springfield Township Board Of Trustees. Cemetery is maintained by Springfield Township Trustees and Springfield Historical Society.
Paulin Cemetery-Located in Springfield Township, section 18. At 1311 Yerian Road, on the west edge of Springfield Township, just east of the lower end of Evans Lake. On South side of road. The cemetery lies on private land, owned since 1972 by Chester and Linda Surgenavic, and is nicely cared for by Chester and Linda.
Old Petersburg Cemetery-Located in Springfield Township, section 36. In Petersburg across from the post office at the point formed by the intersections of Rt. 170 and High Street. The Cemetery is maintained by Springfield Township Trustees.
Springfield Township also has numerous family cemeteries; Haller Family Cemetery, Lipply Family Cemetery, Houk Farm Cemetery, Burkey-Harman Farm Cemetery, Beard Road Private Cemetery, Hahn Farm Cemetery, Koch Cemetery and Crum Private Cemetery.
